Archaeological Summer CampThe Archaeological Site of the Medieval Necropolis of Touças (flayer), located in the medieval village of Garganta, in S. Martinho de Anta, in the municipality of Sabrosa, in the Douro Demarcated Region, World Cultural Heritage (UNESCO), is an archaeology project which involves archaeological excavation, treatment of materials, archaeological illustration, among many other activities in the fields of archaeology and cultural heritage. The project is promoted by AHAS and has the important collaboration of CIDEHUS - University of Évora and of the archaeologist and researcher Gerardo Vidal Gonçalves (gerardo@uevora.pt) and an entire archaeological team that guarantees training and methodology in archaeological intervention.
