PANNONIAS DIGITAL OLD LANDS

Pannonias Digital Old Lands: History, Cultural Heritage and Rural Landscapes is a project designed, promoted, and implemented by AHAS, with funding from Turismo de Portugal through the Interior Tourism Programme +Interior Line, co-financed by the municipalities of Sabrosa, Alijó, and Murça, and with the participation of Património Cultural IP, through the archaeological site of Panoias, located in Assento and Vale de Nogueiras.

The project represents a total investment of €306,509.54, with €214,556.68 funded by Turismo de Portugal. Its goal is to enhance the cultural heritage of the three municipalities and to promote the archaeological site of Panoias through digital humanities, including the digitization of built heritage, virtual reality, holograms, and the creation of an interpretation center in the former primary school of the village of Garganta, in Sabrosa.
