Meet SABROSA

The municipality of Sabrosa, located in the Alto Douro Wine Region and within the Douro Demarcated Region, is a county with 12 parishes and a rich and fascinating historical and archaeological heritage.
The ancient territories of Sabrosa were among the first places to receive charters during the Christian Reconquest and the formation of the Portuguese nation.

The Sabrosa History and Archaeology Association organizes guided tours led by specialized professionals to the most beautiful and interesting historical and archaeological sites in the municipality. The team of guides includes historians, archaeologists, and cultural agents, who aim to inform visitors with accurate scientific and technical knowledge.
